As someone who shoots stills and moving pictures, I find it easier if every project I do is either one or the other. Some days it seems like these are much more different than they are similar. I have lot's of projects in my idea queue that involve capturing stills and motion, but these projects can seem intimidating. I recently shot three separate projects on the same set. I made the About Us video for TheModernMinerva.com, made the first series of images for their fashion blog, and made a video that I submitted to the Moet & Chandon Capture the Now contest.
It was definitely a long day of shooting, and I was exhausted at the end of it, but it forced me out of my comfort zone a little bit creatively because I had to make it work and move on to the next thing.
Shot at Hotel Van Zandt.
